HASBRO JUNIOR FREE-STANDING DISPLAY UNIT (FSDU) GLOBAL MERCHANDISING GUIDELINES AND DESIGN
Challenge
When Hasbro wanted to create global merchandising guidelines for its range of junior games, it needed to work with a team that understands the games brands in question, has worked on them across all iterations and knows how to create global merchandising guidelines for free-standing global display (FSDU) units designed to accommodate the multiple brands of one brand owner. That team was Brand Britain.
Result
Having worked on all the games in the junior range in their original iteration, we knew that bringing them together within unified global merchandising guidelines meant ensuring that highly recognisable and distinctive character assets were amplified and that the packaging, which featured unified and cohesive devices across all games in the range, could be displayed to maximise the graphical consistency. As part of the process, we created an FSDU visual, following the guidelines we created, and as we see here, the finished execution successfully connects the games in the range and the instantly recognisable imagery clearly shouts them out.
