When M&S tasked their savoury pastry supply partner to conduct a major shopper experience review, they came to Brand Britain to bring it to life.
How? We visually translated insights supplied by M&S’s supplier, one of the UK’s largest food producers. These unearthed the emotional drivers surrounding savoury pastry and gave us a deep understanding of what drove M&S shoppers to purchase within the category. Expectations around ‘quality of taste and ingredients’ were high on the agenda for shoppers and from this we designed a choice of positionings based on premium quality, exclusivity, and home baked taste.
