When Monopoly came together with one of the world’s biggest film franchises, they needed a high calibre packaging design agency to handle one of the biggest special edition games ever to be launched.
How? Licenses don’t come much bigger than Star Wars. For a launch as major as this, it was essential for Hasbro to work with a heavyweight strategic design team to ensure this was an extra special edition.
As with any major licensed range, we started by fully understanding the brand guidelines and submerging ourselves in the visual tone of the film. We then created unique assets, game play features and pack design which reflected the fast-paced kineticism and visual excitement of the film. The result was a limited edition game that was, well, out of this world!
