TAKING CANDY TO THE DARK SIDE!
When Rose Confectionery wanted to extend its hugely popular Candy Castle Crew range and give it a menacing edge to appeal to a wider audience, they got straight onto the phone to us. They wanted to stretch the range and create a sub brand that would appeal to more grown-up tastes. Their product development team had created a range of twisted taste combinations, they needed an equally weird and wonderful brand and Packaging look that would leap out at shoppers.
How? We all got to work in the Brand Britain design dungeon and developed ghoulishly good brand system designed to assault the senses. Complete with hazard warning callouts, slimy pack devices and a crowd of utterly bizarre gang of brand misfits. All assets were created by our in-house illustration monsters, of course!
Outcome: The result is a line-up that’s oozing with character, mischief and fun – perfect for sub-culture loving kids and young adults alike. The range was launched to the trade early March 2023 and was extremely well received.
